SPECS
Voltage - obvious
Capacity (mAh or Ah) - how much energy is stored
Discharge rate - a "C" rating, e.g. 10C.  The units are 1/hour.  Capacity times C rating is the max discharge current.  E.g. 2000mAh * 10C = 20000mA = 20A.

Charging rate is also a C rating.  If not specified 1C is safe (e.g. 2000mAh * 1C = 2000mA = 2A charge rate -- pump up to 2A into battery at a time, and take an hour to charge).
