Debbie Blessing's Photography Page
I've been involved in Pinhole Photography since 2001. At that time
I took an alternative photography class at Cabrillo College.
It was an excellent experience and I really got hooked on taking pinhole pictures.
Now it's my passion and favorite form of photography.

I use cookie cans for my cameras. Some as big as the large popcorn size and no smaller
than a 6 inch diameter. I put the pinhole in the side and wrap the curved side of the
can with RC paper to act as the negative. The curved side gives the distortion, the pinhole
the soft focus. Because I can take only 1 picture at a time with each can, I carry
8-15 cans with me for a particular shot. The exposure is usually pretty difficult, but since
I just got a light meter it will probably get easier.

THE HOOK
This last pinhole image was made at Seacliff Beach where I work as a docent. It is a
good example of how the sun can play with pinhole images.
