Bruce Damer | MOVE IMAGE PLEASE
I first met Scott when he was a presenter (performer really) at Earth to Avatars (E2A) '96 (which I organized) and delighted me and everyone with his show of the Carrot Defender and my favorite, the Shard of Chaos, some of the nicest visionary VRML then yet done with amazing sound. Scott was also the co-creator of the E2A 96 poster, the "chrome angel" representing the birth of the avatar medium. If anyone would like one of these posters please let me know. Its beautiful, just like Scott himself!

Hey! We may even be able to digitize Scott's performance at E2A if that would be of interest!

I didn't know Scott well, but our paths did cross a few times as we were both active in the early days of interactive 3D graphics. I was always amazed and inspired by the raw creativity he brought to life. He applied the same to show the world what wonderful, imaginative things could be done with that little upstart format known as vrml. Blaze on, Scott...

I was Scott's significant other for about 5 years in the mid 90's. He was passionate, tempestuous, funny and quite wacky. His spirit was a flame that burned bright and in whatever reality he now travels, I have no doubt that his indomitable spirit continues to blaze like a star.
