Jasper, the Tuxedoed Cat
Jasper was rescued by a tech in our vets' office
after she found him as a stray, only 5 weeks old.
Heaven only knows what became of the rest of his litter....
He filled a HUGE void in our lives only months after Dr. Steve
had helped us bid farewell to our  beloved 17-year-old Uala
(pronounced oo ah la meaning "sweet potato" in Hawaiian).

Jasper only weighed 8 pounds in his prime,
but his file at the vet's office had a notation in big block letters:
"WARNING: Don't try to take this cat's temp!"  --

Feisty was his middle name.
Jasper was almost 19 when his little body gave out.

Rest in Peace, in the sun, dear J-Boy.

Jasper
sizes up the
adolescent Gemma.

Guess who's Alpha?

This is where Jasper
spends his mornings...
on Ted's shoulder!

Gemma, go HOME!
