Ted's immediate family consists of his Mom, Laura,
dad Dr. Jim (a retired horse vet),
beloved older sister Karen, Karen's husband David Mitchell
(a professional photographer and ex-steeplechase jocky),
and LOTS of cousins, aunts, and uncles, especially in Germany and Norway.
Jim and Laura have their own Golden knucklehead, Clancy,
and Karen and David have a Skye terrier, Cora,
and a Cairn terrier,
Toto (what else!?)
We all live in Berkeley, California where Ted's family is from.
Laura, Jim, Ted, and Karen all graduated from
the University of California at Berkeley,
and Karen and I work and teach there.
