I have known Vincent as a fine musician for a number of years.
The criminal complaint in regards to finding an old shotgun with a broken firing
pin which he had forgotten about.

What social good can come from convicting Vince at this point? He no longer has
any firearms, and if he had the intention 
on keeping a firearm he would have kept a functional one.
