Francis Ambrose Doty, 72, formerly of Louisville, died Dec. 3 in Port St. Lucie, Fla. He was a Marine veteran of World War II. Survivors: his wife, Elizabeth M. Doty; three sons, Thomas Doty of Orlando, Fla., Daniel Doty of Jacksonville, Fla., and Francis Doty of Tucson, Ariz.; two daughters, Diane Doty and Marie Boyer, both of Tucson; four brothers, Louis Doty of St. Louis, Richard A., Kevin J. and William D. Doty; a sister, Mary Helen Coogle of Sewickley, Pa.; 12 grandchildren. The funeral was Dec. 6, St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie. Arrangements: Aycock Funeral Home, Port St. Lucie.
