Robert Hall moved from Virginia to Heckley [sic - Hecla], Ohio, where he bought the Aetna Iron Works.1
He married Nancy Bowen, Jan 17 1833, Lawrence County, Ohio.1,3,6 Nancy, daughter of John Bowen & Rachel Feurt, was born Oct 12 1816, Lawrence County, Ohio.2,3,7,8,9

The Halls moved to Missouri and homesteaded in a river valley where the land was rich, but the misquitos were bad. They all contracted Malaria, and "great grandfather" [Robert Hall] and one child died from it.
