Doranne V. Forster Doranne Virginia Forster, 87, formerly of Libertyville and Wadsworth, died Nov. 1 in Condell Medical Center in Libertyville.
She was born Feb. 3, 1918 in Great Falls, Montana and before retirement to Arkansas had been a Lake County resident for more than 28 years.
She was a former member of St. Joseph Parish and a member of the Guild of the B.V.M.
Mrs. Forster had been employed at Libertyville High School and belonged to the Saints & Swingers Square Dance Club. She was an avid crafter and spent any free time reading.
She is survived by her children, Philip C. (the late Dorothy) Forster of Wisc., Tom (Joan) Forster of Mo., Kathy (Bill) Boysen of Ariz., Bob (Elizabeth) Forster of Wildwood, Ray (Sandy) Forster of Gurnee and Marian (Ted) Garcia of Ariz.; 28 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and her sisters, Catherine Peterson and Viola Fredrick, both of Burbank, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband Philip C. Forster in 1997; a granddaughter; and two sisters, Mary Springer and Helen Hansen; and two infant brothers.
Funeral services were held Nov. 4 from McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Libertyville. Mass was offered at St. Joseph Church in Libertyville. Interment was in Heber Springs, Ariz. [sic]
If desired, memorials are requested to the American Lung Assn.
