He married Velma Gordon.¹ Velma, daughter of - Gordon & - Chapin, was born Dec 29 1898, Illinois.⁴

Clarence's obituary was published in the "Star-News" (Pasadena, California) on Monday, August 4, 1969¹⁰ and on Tuesday, August 5, 1969⁹ (see scans below).
