He declared he was born June 7 1893 in Winchester, Tennessee, and was then residing in Checoteh, Oklahoma, and was a self-employed farmer [with a farm] near Okeene, Oklahoma. He declared he was married, with a wife and two babies. He was recorded as tall, slender, brown eyes, black hair.10

He declared he was born June 7 1892 in Winchester, Tennessee, and was then residing at 815 7th, Modesto, Stanislaus County, California, employed by Meyers Construction Co. of Modesto. He declared his relative/contact was Kenneth R. Henshaw of P.O. Box 281, Oxnard, California. He was recorded as 6' tall, 145 lbs., brown eyes, black hair, light brown complexion.12
In 1978 John was still living in/near Checotah, McIntosh County, Oklahoma.6
