Charles W. Hanshew, son of Mrs. Dorothy A. Hanshew of 935 W. First St., has been promoted to technical Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.   Sgt. Hanshew is an aeromedical technician at Robins AFB, Ga.  He is a member of the Air Force Logistics Command which insures thet USAF combat and support units are fully supplied and equipped at the least possible cost.   The sergeant is a graduate of Meadville (Pa.) High School.   His wife, Margaret, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Butler of Rome, N.Y.

Son of Local Woman Serving in S. Viet Nam WITH U. S. COMBAT AIR FORCES, Vietnam -- Technical Sergeant Charles W. Hanshew, son of Mrs. Dorothy A. Hanshew of 935 W. First St., Oil City, Pa., is on duty at Nha Trang AB, Vietnam.   Sergeant Hanshew, and aeromedical technician, has been in the fight against Communist aggression since January, 1966.   The sergeant, a veteran of the Korean War, is a graduate of Meadville (Pa.) High School.   His wife, Margaret, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Butler of 638 William St., Rome, N. Y.

Charles W. Hanshew died Jul - 1972.²
