He married Madeline Maude McNeil, 1920.2,5,7  Madeline was born about 1900, Iowa.3  

Jack and Madeline were divorced sometime before Apr 1930.3  

Madeline and family were shown in the 1930 census (Apr 18 1930), Richland, Keokuk County, Iowa:3

Hinshaw, Jane, daughter, age 6, born in Iowa; parents born in Iowa; attended school.

Living nearby in 1930 was the family of Jack's cousin Loren Levi Hinshaw.16  

Madeline died 1932.2
