Thomas E. Henshaw
Thomas E. Henshaw, 86, Prairie Village, KS, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2002, at Villa St. Francis. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 21, at Cure of Ars Catholic Church, 94th & Mission Rd., with entombment at Resurrection Cemetery, Lenexa, KS. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Rd., where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Catholic Charities. Mr. Henshaw was born December 28, 1915, in Salt Lake City, UT, to Charles and Hettie Pomrenke Henshaw. He served in the Army during WWII. He owned and operated Henshaw's Electronics 1945 to 1985, then he ran the Medugorje Center until 1992. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, James Henshaw. Mr. Henshaw is survived by his wife, Loretta, of the home, five sons, Gary and Ellen Henshaw of Leawood, KS, Raymond Henshaw of Eudora, KS, Joseph and Marta Henshaw of Prairie Village, KS, Steven and Sherilyn Henshaw of Lenexa, KS, and David and Stephanie Henshaw of Overland Park, KS, six daughters, Barbara and Robert Howard of Overland Park, KS, Janet and Ted Robins of Houston, TX, Beverly Henshaw of Prairie Village, KS, Sharon and Buddy Mitchum of Overland Park, KS, Mary Henshaw of Lenexa, KS, and Carolyn and Robert Mazza II of Shawnee, KS, 23 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
