Betty Garner Hinshaw, age 73, of 2019 Poole Town Rd., Asheboro died Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation.  A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jon Reece officiating.  Mrs. Hinshaw was a native of Randolph County and was a member of Back Creek Friends Meeting.  She was retired from Dr. Robert Williford's office.  Betty never complained and always saw the good in everyone.  She is survived by her husband, J.R. Hinshaw; sons, Mark Hinsahw and his wife Darlene "Dee" of Asheboro, NC, Jody Hinshaw and his wife Michelle Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Alex Hinshaw, Luke Hinshaw, and Jack Hinshaw all of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Marie Dunn of Asheboro, NC, and Julia Kitley of High Point, NC; brothers, Roby Garner of Robbins, NC, Tommy Garner of Sneads Ferry, NC, and Doug Garner of Seagrove, NC.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Back Creek Friends Meeting Cemetery Fund, 139 Back Creek Church Rd., Asheboro, NC 27205.
