He married Bertha Coleen McKinnon, Dec 3 1947, Kirby, Pike County, Arkansas.1,2,5,7  Bertha, daughter of Nolan + Mary V. McKinnon, was born Apr 5 1929, Kirby, Pike County, Arkansas.1,4,5,8,9  

In 1947 Jerry and Coleen were living in Langley, Pike County, Arkansas.7  

Bertha died Nov 6 2005.4,6  

Jerry Everett Hinshaw died May 15 2011, age 79.4,6  

Jerry's obituary was published in "The Sentinel-Record" (Hot Springs, Arkansas) on May 18, 2011:6

Jerry E. Hinshaw, age 79, of Hot Springs, died Sunday, May 15, 2011.  

He was born on June 22, 1931, at Gail, Texas, the son of Enoch Ernest Hinshaw and Annie Ruth Johnson Hinshaw.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 57 years, Colene Hinshaw, who died Nov. 6, 2005.  

He was a member of the Jessieville Church of Christ and was self-employed as a financial consultant.  He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army Air Corps.  

Jerry is survived by one son, Donald Hinshaw, of Albuquerque, N.M.; three daughters, Sher Hinshaw, of Van Bure...
