In the Deep Creek Friends Cemetery in Yadkin County, N.C., is the tombstone of Elizabeth Hinshaw, died April 12, 1838 (no age or other information shown).¹³ It is believed that this is the tombstone of Elizabeth Reece Hinshaw.

He then married Martha Hunter, before 1850.^4,10 Martha was born about 1813, North Carolina.⁴
