Albert F. Rowe Albert F. Rowe, 67, former resident of Ponca City and a resident of Okmulgee since 1985, died in Okmulgee Wednesday, June 16, 1999.
Mr. Rowe was born in Stonewall, Okla., on Oct. 14, 1931, to Mickey L. and Ethel (Hedrick) Rowe. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion. Mr. Rowe married Mary Lou Hinshaw in Okmulgee on July 2, 1954. He had employed by the Conoco Oil Company in Ponca City for 31 years, retiring in 1985.
His parents and one brother, Mickey Rowe Jr., preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Rowe, of the home; three daughters, Karen Garddis of Ada, Kathy Little and husband John of Ada, and Kay Landes and husband Larry of Ponca City; three sisters, Helen Gibson of Shawnee, Dois Harbeson of Ardmore, and Lottie Swopes of Noble; and six grandchildren.
Graveside service was held 2 p.m. today, June 18, 1999, at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the McClendon Funeral Home.
Mary Lou currently (2004) still resides in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.4,5
