Dennis Markwood "Red" Hinshaw, 52, died the morning of July 9, 2008, at his residence.  

He was born June 15, 1956, in Lima to Boyd W. and R. Mae Roby Hinshaw, who preceded him in death.  Mr. Hinshaw worked at Norcold, Sidney.  He had been a manager at Certified Gas Station in Wapakoneta and had owned and operated Mark's Body Shop in Cridersville and Lima.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Wapakoneta.  He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 691, Wapakoneta.  He was a graduate of Wapakoneta High School and Ivy Tech in Indiana.  He enjoyed fishing, camping, animals and riding motorcycles.  

Survivors include a sister, Loren Valentine, of Botkins; a brother, Lloyd (Nancy) Hinshaw, of Wapakoneta; 11 nieces and nephews, Franklin (Kelly) Valentine, Rebecca (Andy) Cox, Raymond (Nancy) Valentine, Rose (Jarrod) Davidson, A. Mindy Valentine, Michael (Shelly) Hinshaw, Melissa (Tom) Young, James E. Hinshaw, Melissa (Steve) Courtney, Melinda Young and Matthew (Bobi Jo) Young; several great-nieces and -nephews; and his honorary mother, Betty Young, of Wapakoneta.  

Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta.  Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Moulton.  

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Dennis Markwood "Red" Hinshaw, 52, of Wapakoneta, died Wednesday morning, July 9, 2008, at his residence.  He was born June 15, 1956, in Lima, the son of R. Mae (Roby) and Boyd W. Hinshaw, who preceded him in death.  Survivors include, a sister, Loren Valentine, of Botkins; a brother, Lloyd (Nancy) Hinshaw, of Wapakoneta; nieces and nephews, Franklin (Kelly) Valentine, Rebecca (Andy) Cox, Raymond (Nancy) Valentine, Rose (Jarrod) Davidson, A. Mindy Valentine, Michael (Shelly) Hinshaw, Melissa (Tom) Young, James E. Hinshaw, Melissa (Steve) Courtney, Melinda Young, Matthew (Bobi Jo) Young; and numerous great nieces and nephews; and an honorary mother, Betty Young, of Wapakoneta,

Mr. Hinshaw worked at Norcold, in Sidney.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, State Route 501, Wapakoneta.  Burial is to follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton.  

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
