BOONVILLE - Mr. Leak Hinshaw, 85, of N.C. Hwy 67, Boonville, died Friday, Feb. 9, 2001, at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born March 30, 1915, in Yadkin County to the late Henry L. and Lou Jester Hinshaw.  He was retired owner of 67 Exxon Service Station in Boonville and a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.  He was married to Leatha Huff Hinshaw, who preceded him in death Sept. 6, 1989.  He was also preceded in death by five sisters and four brothers.  Mr. Hinshaw is survived by one son, Tommy Hinshaw and wife Hazel of Boonville; grandsons Ricky and Issy Hinshaw and Randall and Michelle Hinshaw of Boonville; granddaughter Robin and David Johnson of Yadkinville; great-granddaughters Hope and Scott Webb, Bridget and W.A. Jenkins, Krissy Hinshaw and Briana Hinshaw of Yadkinville; and great-great-grandson Evan Scott Webb of Yadkinville.  Funeral services for Mr. Hinshaw will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday at Reavis Funeral Home Yadkinville Chapel with Rev. Kenny Gooden officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Sunday at Reavis Funeral Home Yadkinville Chapel.  Pallbearers will be Bill Miller, Pete Hinshaw, Franklin Hinshaw, C.A. Jester, Wardell Jordan and Jackie Hinshaw.  Honorary pallbearers will be Randall Hinshaw and Ricky Hinshaw.  Reavis Funeral Home Yadkinville Chapel is serving the family.  Memorials may be made to the church.
