Smith & Mary Jane Everal1,8,18, was born Jul 21 18521,8,18 [Jul - 184819], Perry County, Pennsylvania1,8,18 [Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania15].  

Family members called her "Ella",14,17 or "Gramma Hinsh".7

Charles Newton was a Director of McLean County School No. 129 (Stout's Grove).20  

Charles Newton Hinshaw died Feb 16 1918, Danvers Township, McLean County, Illinois; buried Feb 20 1918, Parklawn Cemetery, Danvers, Illinois.8,13,15  Death certificate #36436; informant was son Harry Hinshaw of Danvers.15  Medical: Charles Newton Hinshaw died from a second attack of acute ascending paralysis (Landry's Ascending Paralysis).15  

Charles Newton's death certificate, with information supplied by son Harry, incorrectly shows his date of birth as Nov 27 1848, and also incorrectly shows his parents as a John Hinshaw & Mary Mickens15 (it is unknown why Harry would not have known the correct names of his grandparents).  

Widow Anna Ella was shown in the 1920 census (Jan 17 1920), living on her farm with her son Ben and daughter Mary, Danvers Township, McLean County, Illinois:21

Widow Anna was shown in the 1940 census (Apr 22-23 1940), living on her farm with the family of her son Ben, Danvers Township, McLean County, Illinois:24

Hinshaw, Anna, mother, age 87, born in Pennsylvania; was living in the same house on Apr 1 1935; completed 8th grade education.

Anna died Aug 8 1947, Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois; age 95 years 17 days.8,13,15  Death certificate #34256; informant was son Don Hinshaw of Farmington.15  Medical: Ella died from chronic myocarditis due to arteriosclerosis (and senility).15
