Of Waterbury, CT, on Monday, February 18, 2002.  Wife of the late Benjamin H. Henshall Jr., she was born April 27th, 1921 in Bluefield, WV, daughter of the late Claude and Arra Catherine (Brooks) Davis.  She was educated at Beaver High School in Bluefield, WV and attended nursing school at Catholic University in Washington, D.C.  She was a Registered Nurse and part-owner of Douglas Opticians in Silver Spring, MD.  She enjoyed bowling, playing Bingo and was an avid sports fan.  

Mrs. Henshall leaves two sons, Robert Brooks and William Richard, both of California; one daughter, Mary Harris of Oakville, CT; two brothers, Robert Davis of Tennessee and Richard Davis of Florida; two sisters, Yvonne Monk of Virginia and Scarlet Swall of Colorado; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Claude Catherine F. Davis.  She also leaves five grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her brother, Claude Davis.  

Memorial donations in Mrs. Henshall's name could be made to the American Red Cross, 64 Holmes Ave., Waterbury, CT 06702 or the Fidelco Guide Dogs Association, P.O. Box 142, Bloomfield, CT 06002.  

A memorial service for Mrs. Henshall will be scheduled at a later date at the Cedar Hill United Methodist Church in Wytheville, VA.  The Casey-O'Donnell Family Funeral Home of Waterbury, CT has been entrusted with the arrangements.
