On Sep 10 1918 George Henshall, age 40, registered for the World War I draft in Bergen County, New Jersey.  He declared he was born April 6 1878, and was then residing in Pallisades, Bergen County, New Jersey, employed as a theatrical manager.  He declared his nearest relative was Mrs. Josephine Henshall of Pallisades.  He was recorded as short, stout, blue eyes, black hair.4  

He married Helen -.6  

George Leon Henshall died Jul 15 1928, California; buried Broad St. Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Bridgeton, Cumberland County, New Jersey.5,6,7  

George's death was noted in the "Los Angeles Times" (Los Angeles, California) on July 17, 19287 (see scan below).
