On Feb 6 1943 Henry F. Henshaw, born 1922 in Alabama, enlisted at Fort McClellan, Alabama as a private in the U.S. Army.  He declared he had a grammar school education, was single, without dependents, occupation: automobile serviceman.  He was recorded as 67" tall, 140 lbs.9  

He married Mattie Oma Bryant.1  Mattie was born Sep 14 1937.1  

Henry and Mattie were shown in the 1960 city directory of Chattanooga, Tennessee:10
