Grandparents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Walter S. Smith Jr. of Slaughter and Ms. Marina McBride Scrivens of Baton Rouge.
Grandparents of the groom are the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert C. Hinshaw of Hammond and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Macaluso of Tickfaw.
The couple is planning a June wedding at Saint Peter Catholic Church in Covington.
