Tully and family were shown in the 1910 census (Apr 20 1910), Union Street, Winchester, Randolph County, Indiana:^d

At Cherry Grove MM on 5-14-1919, Tully J. was granted a certificate to White River MM, Indiana - "refused by White River MM" (??).⁴⁹

At White River MM on 7-5-1919, Tully was received on a certificate from Cherry Grove MM.⁴⁹

At Cherry Grove MM on 5-8-1920, Tully J. was again granted a certificate to White River MM.⁴⁹

Tully's obituary was published in the Union City Times-Gazette on Monday, December 7, 1942:^m

Tully Hinshaw rites today. Tully Hinshaw, 60, died at 4 a. m. Saturday at the home of his son, Walter Hinshaw, 1 1/2 miles southwest of Hollansburg, Ohio where he had been making his home for the past eight years.    He was a retired farmer and former resident of Randolph county. Survivors are the son at whose home he died; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Hiatt of Morgantown; one brother, Orville Hinshaw of Lynn, and one grandson. The body was returned to the son's home Sunday where short funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:45 p. m. (EWT) followed by services at the Buena Vista church at 2 p. m. (CWT).    Rev. Don Jennings of near Whitewater will officiate.    Burial will be in the Buena Vista cemetery.
