Tully's obituary was published in the Union City Times-Gazette on Monday, December 7, 1942:m
Tully Hinshaw rites today. Tully Hinshaw, 60, died at 4 a. m. Saturday at the home of his son, Walter Hinshaw, 1 1/2 miles southwest of Hollansburg, Ohio where he had been making his home for the past eight years.    He was a retired farmer and former resident of Randolph county.
Survivors are the son at whose home he died; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Hiatt of Morgantown; one brother, Orville Hinshaw of Lynn, and one grandson.
The body was returned to the son's home Sunday where short funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:45 p. m. (EWT) followed by services at the Buena Vista church at 2 p. m. (CWT).    Rev. Don Jennings of near Whitewater will officiate.    Burial will be in the Buena Vista cemetery.
