Mary Jane Long
Mary Jane Long, 80, of Huntsville, died Wednesday at Huntsville Hospital. She was a member of Riverton Free Holiness Church. She was a retired manager of Vanderbilt Manor Apartments and was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett Long; and her two brothers, Lester and Ray Henshaw. She is survived by one son, Bob Long and wife, Betty; one daughter, Sandra McCluskey and husband, Dannie; one foster daughter/sister, Dean Young and husband, Ralph; four sisters, Epsie Bird, Opal Craig, Bertie Stapler and Fay Lohenitz; one brother, John Lawson Hinshaw; and seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 9 p.m. today. Funeral services will be at the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Friday with Bro. Hoyt Dalton and Bro. James Bridges officiating. Interment will be at Green Valley Cemetery.
