Henshaw, George, head-of-household, age 23, born in Texas; parents born in Texas; first married at age 21; rented home ($25 rent); no radio in home; occupation: bottling, works; not a war veteran.
Henshaw, Lola, wife, age 21, born in Texas; father born in Arkansas; mother born in Mississippi; first married at age 19.

In 1953 George was living in Abilene, Texas.10  In 1965 George was living at 600 N. Third St., Haskell, Texas.8,9

Iola died Aug 24 2006, buried Willow Cemetery, Haskell, Haskell County, Texas.2,4,8  

Iola's obituary was published as follows:2

HASKELL -- Iola Taylor Henshaw, 97, of Haskell, died Thursday, August 24, 2006.  

A Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 28, 2006 at the First Baptist Church, with Dr. Troy Culpepper and Reverend Greg Gasaway officiating.  Burial will follow in Willow Cemetery under the direction of Holden - McCauley Funeral Home of Haskell.  

Iola was born on April 1, 1909 in Hereford, Texas to Dr. Lafayette and Mrs. Edna Pearl Bernero Taylor.  She moved to Haskell with her family when she was a few months old.  She had 2 brothers and 5 sisters.  Iola finished Haskell High School and attended Hardin - Simmons University.  

She married George Henry (Chick) Henshaw in 1928 while they were attending Harden - Simmons University in Abilene.  They lived in Haskell for many years and had a daughter Jeanette and a son Bobby.  After moving to Sweetwater and Fort Worth, they returned to Haskell for the remainder of their lives.  

Chick Henshaw died in Haskell and son Bobby died in Casper, Wyoming.  

Iola was a care giver of the family, caring for her many sisters before they passed on, as she did her Father.  She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Haskell and was the organizer of the Hazel Reynolds Circle.  

She is survived by Jeanettte Henshaw Taylor and husband Bill of Hilton Head, SC; and a brother Dr. Bill Taylor and wife, Betty of Abilene; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  

The family requests that memorials be sent to the First Baptist Church, 301 North Ave E. Haskell, Texas 79521.
