Born Oct 25 1846, Cherry Grove MM, Randolph County, Indiana.1,2,3,6,7,9,10,11,17
The Quaker records show conflicting birth dates - on the same page is shown both 10-25-1846 and 10-25-1848 (Cherry Grove MM). The former seems to be correct as New Garden MM, on 4-15-1848, recorded "Sarah & children Aaron & Narcissa were granted a certificate to White River MM".2 Aaron must therefore have been born before 4-15-1848. (Original records, being handwritten, may have had the correct date recorded but not clearly). The 1850 census also clearly shows Aaron at 3 years old, confirming an approximate 1846 birth year.
He married Emily J. Beard1,2,3,18 [Emma J. Beard6,10,16], Nov 22 18691,2,3,18, Henry County, Iowa1,2,3,18. Emily, daughter of Enoch Beard & Margaret Hockett2,3,7,18, was born Aug 5 18422,3,7,18 [Aug - 18506,9,10,11,15,16,17], Henry County, Iowa2,3,7,18.
