He married Lydia Margaret Horn [Lydia Margaret Clemens6,8], about 1911.  Lydia, daughter of William Horn & Johanna Klupp, was born Aug 27 1891, Illinois.5,6,9  (c1894).  Lydia was born about 1894, Illinois.8  

Lydia had apparently been previously married to a -- Clemens and had a daughter, Jo Ann Clemens.8  

On Sep 12 1918, Dennis Edward Hinshaw, age 32, registered for the World War I draft at Fort Worth, Texas.  He declared his occupation as Discharge & Payroll Clerk at Camp Bowie, Fort Worth, Texas, with his nearest relative as Mrs. W.S. Hinshaw, Brookston, Lamar County, Texas.  He was recorded as tall, medium build, blue eyes, black hair.3
