On Mar 22 1945 Alfred S. Henshaw, born 1916 in New York, enlisted in New York City as a private in the U.S. Army.  He declared he had two years of high school, was married and a medical equipment maintenance technician.  He was recorded as 70" tall.6  Alfred served as a seargent in the U.S. Army from Jun 28 1949 to Apr 19 1952,2 and was a veteran of the Korean War.3  

Alfred Scott Henshaw died Sep 11 1954, buried Sep 15 1954, Section Q, Site 2552, Long Island National Cemetery, 2040 Wellwood Avenue, Farmingdale, Suffolk County, New York.1,2,3,7  Alfred died from a head injury.8
