William Vance Hincher HINCHER TRAPHILL - Mr. William Vance Hincher, age 75, died Thursday, March 12, 2009.  Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, March 15, at Old Roaring River Baptist Church.  Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.

Dick's obituary was published as follows:⁴

Mr. William Vance Hincher, age 75, of Hincher Lane, Traphill died Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.   Mr. Hincher was born in Wilkes County, September 25, 1933, son of Saloman Iredell and Sallie Wood Hincher [sic].  He is a resident of Traphill, NC In addition to his parent [sic], Mr. Hincher was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Angelene Hincher.   Mr. Hincher is survived by his wife, Virginia Holloway Hincher of the home; three sisters, Dorothy Barker of Traphill, Martha Hayes of Elkin, and Esteline Harris of State Road; two grandchildren, Sabrina Delaney and Jeremy Billings; two great grandchildren, Caleb Delaney and Dustin Delaney.   Funeral services will be held 2:00, Sunday, March 15, at Old Roaring River Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Rhoades and the Rev. Clint Branch officiating.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 Saturday night.
