He married Hannah Schneider, about 1910.1,2,10 Hannah, daughter of George/John Schneider & Louise Weiseman, was born Oct 1 1890, Staunton, Illinois.10,11 (c1889).1,2,6

He declared he was born Feb 27 1887 in McAllister [sic], Oklahoma, and was then residing in Sesser, [Franklin County,] Illinois, with a dependent wife and two children, employed as a coal miner at Sesser Coal Co. He was recorded as tall, medium build, light brown eyes, light brown hair.5
