Ralph Keneipp, 57, died at his home in Grand Tower at 10 a. m. yesterday, following an illness of six months.  Before his illness he was employed as foreman at the CIPS plant in Grand Tower.  

He is survived by his wife, Lydia Keneipp, who is the former Lydia Henshaw; two daughters, Lydia Marie, Grand Tower, and Marilee, Carbondale.  He is also survived by six sisters, Mrs. Grace Duncan and Mrs. Bertha Duncan, Carrier Mills, Mrs. Mary Barger, Pontiac, Mich., Mrs. Rosilee Barger, Harrisburg, Mrs. Martha Barger, Pontiac, Mich., and Mrs. Vivian Hancock, Harrisburg, and two brothers, Roscoe Keneipp, Roswell, New Mexico, and Charles Keneipp, Pontiac, Mich.  

The body was taken by the Gibbons funeral home to the home of his sister at 610 East Walnut street, Carrier Mills.  It will lie in state there until the funeral which will be Thursday at 2 p. m. at the Palestine Social Bethren [sic] church south of Carrier Mills.  The Rev. Joe Rose, assisted by Rev. Elmer Grisham, will officiate, and burial will be in the Palestine cemetery.  

Charles Owen, Tom Ingram, Barney Frazier, Esco, Ed, and Andrew Keneipp are serving as pallbearers.

In 1976 Lydia was still living in Grand Tower, Jackson County, Illinois.2,4  

Lydia Mahala Henshaw died Aug 26 1976, age 75.2,4

LYDIA KENEIPP

Services for Lydia Keneipp, 75, of Grand Tower, will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Palestine Church in Stonefort.  

Burial will be in Palestine Church Cemetery in Carrier Mills.  

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Crawshaw Mortuary Chapel in Grand Tower, and from 9 a.m to 11 a.m. Saturday, when the body will be moved to the church.  

Mrs. Keneipp was dead on arrival at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale Thursday, Aug. 26, 1976.  

She was born March 23, 1901, in Stonefort, to Riley and Martha Dunn Henshaw.  She was married in Harrisburg to John Ralph Keneipp, who died Oct. 6, 1953.  

Mrs. Keneipp was a member of the Jackson County Humane Society.  Memorials may be made to the society.  

Survivors include daughters, Marylee T. Keneipp and Lydia Marie Glodo, both of Grand Tower; brothers Lloyd Henshaw of Manteno and Loren Henshaw of Harrisburg; a sister, Louise Owen of Manteno and one grandson.
