Grace Wagoner
CLEARWATER, Fla. - Grace A. Wagoner, 87, of Clearwater, formerly of Winfield, died April 15, 1997, in Clearwater.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Miles Funeral Service with interment in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home until 9 p.m. today.
A memorial has been established with the Clearwater Hospice. Contributions can be made through the funeral home.
Born Jan. 18, 1908, in Winfield, she was a daughter of William E. and Bertha May (Smith) Hinshaw. She graduated from Winfield High School and from Southwestern College with a degree in education.
On July 25, 1942, she married Warren W. Wagoner, and they resided in Winfield.
Wagoner later resided in Great Bend and Topeka and taught in various Kansas elementary schools before retiring in 1973. She moved to the Clearwater area in 1991.
Wagoner was a member of Countryside United Methodist Church in Topeka.
Survivors include two daughters, Alma Hughes, Alexandria, Va., and Jeanie Lee Higgins, Salina; two brothers, Charles Hinshaw, Texas, and Homer Hinshaw, Tulsa, Okla.; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services for Grace A. Hinshaw Wagoner, 89, who died April 15, 1997, were held at 10:30 a.m. April 19 in Colonial Chapel of Miles Funeral Service. The Rev. Fred Houston officiated. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
Special vocal music included "Blessed Assurance."
A memorial has been established with Hospice Inc. of Clearwater, Fla.
