She married Austin Vinton, Dec 30 1842, Ellicottville, Cattaraugus County, New York.1,7,8,9  Austin, son of Cotton Vinton & Content Witherell, was born Jun 19 1817, Chesterfield, Hampshire County, Massachusetts.1,3,4,5,6,9,10

Wilfred E. Vinton, born Dec 11 1843 (Dec 13 1843); died Dec 1915; married Ada Beebee, c1875 (son: Herbert Vinton, born May 24 1879).
William H. Vinton, born Nov 17 1847; married Emma Garver, Oct 16 1872 (daughter: Julia Vinton, born Oct 8 1874).

Lydia and family resided in Ellicottville, New York,1,9 later moving to Minnesota, settling in Sep 1856 on a farm east of Waseca, Waseca County, Minnesota.1

After Austin died Lydia and son Wilfred and his family lived on the family farm until 1896, when they moved to a house in Owatonna, Minnesota.1  

Lydia "Liddy" Henshaw died 1899, buried Woodville Cemetery, Woodville Township, Waseca County, Minnesota.1,2,3,4  

Lydia and Austin are buried with Lydia's sister, Nancy Henshaw (1827-1909).3,4  Also buried with them is an Adam Vinton (1849-1892) and a Wilfred Vinton.3
