Services for Marvin Victor Hinshaw, 86, will be at 2:30 p.m. today at McWane Family Funeral Home in Hemet. Burial will be in San Jacinto Valley Cemetery. He died Sunday of cancer at Ramona Manor Convalescent Hospital in Hemet. Mr. Hinshaw, who was born in Colorado, lived in Hemet for 17 years after living in Lake Arrowhead for 30 years. He was a carpenter for 65 years. He also was chief dispatcher for Lake Arrowhead Fire Department for 10 years. He is survived by his wife, Esther; a stepson, Tom Burt of Hemet; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Valerie Hunt of Red Bluff. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 7130 Magnolia Ave., Riverside, 92507.
