Morden, Patricia, age 16, born in Montreal, Canada; single; student.
Morden, Barbara, age 15, born in Denham, England; single; student.

On Nov 29 1930 Walter Grand Morden arrived at the Port of New York on the S.S. Hamburg, having sailed Nov 21 1930 from Southampton, England.  The passenger manifest recorded:7

Morden, Walter Grant, age 50, born in Picton, Canada; married;
citizen of Great Britain (Canadian);
occupation: Member of Parliament;
residence: London, England;
visa number 3663, issued Nov 19 1930, London, England.

Walter was Director of several Canadian corporations and was prominent in financial circles in both Montreal and London.  Walter suffered bankruptcy during the Great Depression of the early 1930s.8  

Walter died Jun 25 1932, London, England; age 52.1,3,9  

Walter's obituary was published in the "New York Times" (New York, New York) on Jun 26 19329 (see scan below).
