The tenth annual closing of the Yadkinville Normal School occurred last Monday and Tuesday, May 27th and 28th. The exercises, as usual, were of a high order, consisting of orations and essays by the finishing class, recitations and songs. Misses Blanch Royall and Bettie Taylor and Messrs. Will Hutchens and Melvin Hinshaw composed the finishing class this year and were each given diplomas presented by the principal, Prof. Dixon, in a most appropriate and profound speech.
