LIBERTY - Mrs. Belle Wheeler Hinshaw, 82, died Friday, June 7, 2002, at Sunbridge Care in Asheboro. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2002, at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Mrs. Hinshaw was a native of Zebulon and was a longtime resident of Liberty. She was a former employee of BiRite Grocery in Liberty and was a member of First Baptist Church in Liberty. Surviving are husband, James P. (Jim) Hinshaw of Sunbridge Care in Asheboro; son, Cecil Miller of Pfafftown; grandchildren, Tammy Rollins of Liberty, Connie Kivett of Staley and Mitchell Miller of Winston-Salem; four great-grandchildren; sister, Polly Bowman of Alamance; brother, James Wheeler of Washington State. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at the Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty and other times, at the home of granddaughter, Tammy Rollins, 5021 Starmount Ave., Liberty. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, N.C. 27204.

James P. Hinshaw
LIBERTY - James P. Hinshaw, 101, formerly of Liberty, died Friday, Feb. 7, 2003, at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation Center, Asheboro.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at Loflin Funeral Home, Liberty, with the Rev. Larry Clark officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
He was a native of Randolph County, the widower of Belle Hinshaw, a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and a retired police officer with the Liberty Police Department after 30 years.
Surviving are sister, Topsy Smith of Randleman; stepson, Cecil Miller of Winston-Salem; one grandson; three stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
