He married Fannie Hinshaw1,2,6 [Warren F. Hinshaw7, Warnie F. Hinshaw8], about 19131,2,6.  Fannie Hinshaw, daughter of William A. Hinshaw & Martha Elizabeth Langston, was born May - 1893, Alabama.2,6,7,8  (c1895).1

Hinshaw, age 28, registered for the World War I draft in Jackson County, Alabama.  He declared he was born April 18th 1889 in Estill Fork, [Jackson County,] Alabama, and was then residing in Milan, [Jackson County,] Alabama where he was employed in blacksmithing supporting a wife, two children and his mother.  He was recorded as medium height, medium build, blue eyes, dark hair.5
