In 1924 Albert graduated from the College of Emporia (Kansas), where he had been an outstanding athlete.¹²

He married Marian Stephens Burr^1,2,6,13 [Marion Brown⁶, Marion Brewer⁶, Mary N. Burr³], Oct 25 1930^1,2,6,13, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri^1,2,6,13. Marian, daughter of Clarence Edmund Burr & Lena Rivers Stephens^1,13, was born Jul 7 1902^1,13 [Jul 8 1902¹⁴], Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri^1,13.

Albert was a school teacher and "althletic official",¹ coaching basketball at the College of Emporia 1928-1931, and later coaching at Ellsworth and Salina high schools. In 1957 he retired from officiating and became a public school teacher in Kansas City, Kansas.¹²

Albert Frederick Hinshaw died May 23 1963, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri; buried May 25 1963, Elmwood Cemetery, 4900 Truman Road, Kansas City, Missouri.^1,10,11,12

Albert's death was reported in the "Salina Journal" (Salina, Kansas) on Friday, May 24 1963¹² (see scan below).

Marian died Oct 20 2000^13,16 [Oct 1 2000¹⁴]; buried Elmwood Cemetery, Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri^13,16.
