PONTIAC - Jeffrey L. Steimle, 59, Pontiac, died at 1:42 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 3, 2006) at OSF Saint James-John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac.
His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Pontiac, with the Rev. Gretchen Stinebaugh officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, rural Pontiac. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service Friday morning at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be made to Livingston County Humane Society.
Jeff was born Sept. 25, 1947, at Pontiac, a son of William Lee and Jewel Schlappi Steimle.
Survivors include his mother, Jewel Trost, Pontiac; two brothers, Mark Steimle and Greg (Diana) Steimle, both of Pontiac; one sister, Marcia (Robert) McGowan, Pontiac; two half sisters, Debbie White and Linda Roe, both of Pontiac; and three half brothers, Danny, Timmy and James Trost, all of Pontiac.
He was preceded in death by his father; one son, Jeff Steimle; and one half brother.
Jeff was educated in Pontiac Schools and was an iron worker.
