Sibyl Hinshaw Stephens, 91, of Scottsboro died Friday.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Skyline Holiness Church. Burial will follow in Skyline Cemetery. Visitation will be today from noon until 9 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home.

Date Of Death: January 20, 2012
Sibyl Hinshaw Stephens, age 91 of Scottsboro, died Friday, January 20, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday at Skyline Holiness Church with Bro. Shirley Byrum, Bro. James "Totchie" McLain and Bro. Ray Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church Sunday from 12:00 noon until funeral time. The family will receive friends at Scottsboro Funeral Home Saturday from 12 noon until 9:00pm.
Mrs. Stephens is survived by husband Vernon Stephens SR of Scottsboro, sons; Vernon (Margie) Stephens Jr and Mitchell (Charlotte) Stephens both of Skyline, Eugene (Evelyn) Stephens of Hytop and Randall (Angie) Stephens of Flintville, TN, daughters; Glenda (Bobby) Carden and Wanda (Ray) Thomas both of Scottsboro, 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 16 great, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and special friends and caregivers; Sharon Kennedy and Alana Massey. She was preceded in death by infant daughter, parents, Jim and Sally Hinshaw, brother, Floyd Hinshaw, sisters; Lily Vandiver, Lenos Sisk and Ruby Clark.
