It is unknown who the above Franklin Hinshaw was.  The census shows unclear handwriting that could be interpreted as "nephew" or "gnephew".  This might have been Cyrus Franklin Hinshaw, who was age 20 in 1880 and was grandson of Zimri's sister Jedidah (making him Zimri's great nephew).  

Martha died Jul 21 1888, buried Flint Ridge Methodist Church, Flint Ridge, Chatham County, North Carolina.1,18  

He then married Mary Ellen Wright, about 1892, North Carolina.1,6,8  Mary was born Feb - 1849, North Carolina.6

Living nearby in 1900 was the family of cousin Jabin Hinshaw19 and his nephew John Wesley Hinshaw;20

Zimri Hinshaw died Sep 20 1900, buried Flint Ridge Methodist Church, Flint Ridge, Chatham County, North Carolina.1,18  

Zimri's will, probated in Alamance County in 1900, is recorded in the North Carolina State Archives (Raleigh, NC); Will Book 3, page 346 (and/or Chatham County Will Book G, page 574).21
