He married Betty Ann Mohlfeld, Aug 14 1962, near Wayne, Nebraska.2  Betty, daughter of Otto Mohlfeld & Anna Koehlmoos, was born Mar 21 1934, near Wayne, Nebraska.2  (Mar 22 1934).3  

In 2001 Carl and Betty were living in/near South Sioux City, Dakota County, Nebraska.2,3  

Betty died Aug 11 2001, Sioux City, Woodbury County, Iowa; buried Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Woodbury County, Iowa.2,3

Betty A. Henshaw

SOUTH SIOUX CITY - Betty Ann Henshaw, 67, of South Sioux City died unexpectedly Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, at a Sioux City hospital.  

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Hope Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Charles Horkey officiating.  Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2 to 8:30 p.m. today, with the family present 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Becker-Hunt Funeral Home.  

Mrs. Henshaw was born March 21, 1934, in rural Wayne, Neb., the daughter of Otto and Anna (Koehlmoos) Mohlfeld.  She graduated from Wayne High School and received her teaching certificate from Wayne State College in 1958.  She taught in rural Nebraska schools.  

She married Carl L. Henshaw on Aug. 14, 1962, in rural Wayne.  She then taught in Iowa and Nebraska schools.  She received her master's degree in teaching from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa, in 1969.  She was currently a substitute teacher in Sioux City and South Sioux City.  

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women Missionary League, Lutheran Brotherhood and American Association of Retired Persons.  She was a Sunday school teacher and taught Vacation Bible School at Hope Lutheran Church and in Winnebago, Neb.  

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Carol Ann and her husband, John Romanus of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Beth Laura Henshaw of Santa Barbara, Calif.; two brothers and their wives, Harvey and Bonnie Mohlfeld of Wayne, and Alvin and Eileen Mohlfeld of Nevada, Mo.; and two grandchildren, Sara and Logan Romanus.  

She was preceded in death by her parents.  

Pallbearers will be Scott, Clark, Keith and Mike Mohlfeld, Larry Koehlmoos and Marlin Rauss.
