After a career spanning decades and traveling the world, Gail retired from the Red Cross.1

Gail Ann Hoisington
Gail Ann Hoisington passed away on April 18, 2002 following a long illness.
She was born September 21, 1943, the daughter of Mrs. Gail Knight and the late Robert Hoisington. She was a National Merit Scholarship finalist and received a Trustees Scholarship from the University for Women in Oxford, OH. After a year, she transferred to the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where she graduated cum laude with a B.A. in history and earned two Master's degrees. She was employed in Los Angeles, CA, first summarizing state laws for NILS Publishing, and later working on a library project for Exxon Oil. She moved to San Antonio in 1994.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a brother, Michael H. Knight of Spring Green, WI. Memorial donations may be made to the San Antonio Chapter of the American Red Cross.
