Wade was raised in Wichita and attended Wichita State University and Colorado Community College.^a

Wade is a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the U.S.M.C. 1968-1969; wounded in action and received the Purple Heart.^a

He married Pamela Lee Jackson, 1971.^a

Wade and Pamela moved to Arvada, Colorado.^a    They were divorced in 1978, and Wade then returned to Wichita.^a

He then married Barbara Schaper, 1984.^a,b

No children from the second marriage.^a

In 2000 Wade was living at 6705 S. 143rd St. E., Derby, Kansas.^c

In 2002 Wade retired from the aircraft industry.^a    In 2002 Wade was living in Wichita, Kansas.^d    Wade and Barbara currently (2003-2005) reside in Derby, Kansas^b,a and in Kerrville, Texas.^a
