Joe Glenn Culler
Joe Glenn Culler, 84, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at his home. He was born in Surry County on Jan. 8, 1923, to John Henry and Betty Hinshaw Culler. He was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Culler was preceded in death by his wife, Macy Long Culler; three brothers, John, Earl and Robert Culler; and a sister, Lillie Mae Culler Bodenheimer. Surviving are several nephews; and his best friend, Joe Bass of Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 6, at Huff Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dwayne Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Sept. 5, at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative CareCenter, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
