Patricia Joan Hinshaw died Jul 22 2005, at her home, Oregon City, Clackamas County, Oregon.²  

Tricia's obituary was published in "The Oregonian" (Portland, Oregon) on August 2, 2005:²

FOLEY, PATRICIA J.  July 21, 1952 - July 22, 2005.  A memorial service to celebrate the life of Tricia will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 2 in Abigail's Garden at the Abernethy Center in Oregon City.  Tricia lost her 10-year battle with breast cancer at her Oregon City home on July 22, 2005, the day after her 53rd birthday.  She was born July 21, 1952, to Vernon and Edith Hinshaw of Centerville, Wash.  She cherished her childhood on the farm in Centerville until she moved to Gladstone her senior year of high school.  She graduated from Gladstone High School and attended George Fox College.  Tricia married Mark Foley in 1973 and had two children, Kimberly and Ryan.  She was known for her dedication to the Lord and her compassion toward others.  She loved nature, photography and gardening.  All who knew her loved her.  She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mark; daughter, Kimberly, and son, Ryan, of Oregon City.  She is also survived by her father, Vernon Hinshaw of Yamhill; brother, Phillip Hinshaw of Hamilton, Mont.; sister, Katherine Winniford of McMinnville, and Judy Hinshaw of Sylvan Lake, Alberta, Canada.  Her mother, Edith Hinshaw, and her younger brother, David Hinshaw, preceded her in death.  At Tricia's request, bright colors are to be worn to her memorial service.  Contributions in her memory can be made to the Willamette Christian Church building fund in lieu of flowers.
